Boy George coming to Kool Haus for August 10 show | 08 mai 2008

Boy George of Culture Club fame is back from drug arrests, and will perform at Kool Haus on Aug. 10.

Tix, $44.50, are on sale tomorrow at Ticketmaster, Rotate This, Sonic Temple, by phone at 416-870-8000 or online at ticketmaster.ca.

In other concert news:

- Queens of the Stone Age, who play Hamilton's Copps Coliseum on Saturday night, will play tomorrow night at the El Mo. Tix, $50, are on sale now online at ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 416-870-8000. There is a two-ticket limit per person. No resale or transfer of tickets and all tickets will be held at the El Mo box office, and are only available for pickup after 8 p.m. the night of the show. ID and credit card must be presented and match the order information or entry will be refused.

- Reggae legends Third World play The Phoenix on June 18 with tix, $36.50, on sale at the regular outlets and Phoenix Concert Theatre box office.
- Bluesman Johnny Winter pulls into the Phoenix on July 3 with tix, $34.50, on sale now at all of the above. His special guest will be Savoy Brown (featuring Kim Simmonds).
- Bootsy Collins "Tribute to the Godfather Of Soul" show originally scheduled for Saturday May 10 at Kool Haus has been postponed, with a new date to be announced shortly. Tickets for Saturday,s show will be honoured on the new date.
