L'ex-reine de la nuit sait s'entourer. Dans l'album « Régine's Duets », annoncé pour le 9 mars chez AZ, Régine, 82 ans, croise le fer avec un surprenant aréopage d'acteurs et de chanteurs.

A 79 ans, Régine s'offre un superbe cadeau, un album de duos enregistrés avec les plus grandes stars de la chanson française et internationale. Le disque, baptisé Regine's Duets, paraîtra en mars prochain chez AZ.

Kim Wilde has revealed her excitement at performing on the 'Here And Now' '80s reunion tour.

The singer, who praised the decade as a good one for the industry, said that she is looking forward to meeting up with some of the people she has met over the course of her career.

"[It's] a great way to keep in touch with old friends like Howard Jones, who's a real gentleman, and Altered Images, whom I've not seen for ages. And the fans, of course!" she told CityLife.

"I'm personally looking forward to this tour because big arenas are fun to play and when there are other musicians around there's a real sense of camaraderie as we sit up late at night, drinking soup and reminiscing about the old days."

Wilde also extended her support to Boy George, whose place on the tour depends on the outcome of his current legal difficulties. She said: "George is musically a national treasure and we should all try to remember that."

The 2009 leg of the 'Here And Now' tour is scheduled for 15 dates across the UK.

BOY GEORGE has been forced to evict a DJ pal who is awaiting trial for rape after a judge ruled the houseshare was inappropriate given the singer's own recent conviction for false imprisonment of a male escort.
The former Culture Club frontman, real name George O'Dowd, is facing a possible jail term when he is sentenced next week (beg12Jan09) after he was found guilty of chaining a male escort to his bed at his London home in 2007.
O'Dowd has let his friend Antony Marnoch - freed on $15,300 (GBP10,000) while he awaits trial for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old-boy in a public toilet - use his residence as a bail address.
Marnoch - who has DJed at private parties for stars including Madonna and Prince - has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and sexual assault and has been staying with O'Dowd since 12 December (08).
But, after a tip-off from British tabloid The Sun, a judge at London's Blackfriars court lifted reporting restrictions on the case and declared it "entirely unsuitable" that Marnoch stay with O'Dowd in his North London property.
O'Dowd claims he let Marnoch stay with him so he could visit a nearby hospital for regular cancer treatment, saying, "That's what friends are for."

BOY George allowed a DJ pal to use his home as a bail address while awaiting trial for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old lad in a public loo.

Anthony Marnoch, 43 — freed on £10,000 bail — has been staying at the former Culture Club singer's mansion since December 12.

But when The Sun told the judge in his case, he ordered that Marnoch find a new bail address due to Boy George's conviction in an unrelated trial for chaining a male escort to his bed.

At London's Blackfriars Crown Court, Judge Daniel Worsley praised The Sun for its work and thanked reporter Gary O'Shea for his tip-off.

He said it was “entirely unsuitable” for Marnoch, known as DJ Fat Tony, to stay at Boy George's plush home in North London.

He added: “It is the actions of The Sun that have drawn the court's attention to the unsuitability of the address and I am grateful.”

In an important victory for press freedom, the judge threw out a bid from Marnoch's legal team to stop us revealing he used the 47-year-old singer's home.

He said there was “not a significant risk” to the accused receiving a fair trial on May 11.
