DJ SET SAMEDI 7 AVRIL 2007 MACEDONIA : SKOPSKI | 04 avril 2007

 

You may all know Boy George from his singing career, although he has not reached the same level of success as a solo artist, he has a second career as a notable music DJ. And that's exactly what he will do on Veligden (7 April) in the Metropolis Arena in Skopje (Skopje fair). The event is organised by KLS and will be supported by DJ Zoki Bejbe and Robotek. He started DJ'ing in the early 90's and came to the attention of legendary rave/house promoters Fantazia who asked him to mix 1 of the discs on the 2 volume in their new compilation series Fantazia The House Collection 2. This compilation was a success in the UK, going gold. The album was also sold to Sony for European-wide release. London mega club Ministry of Sound hired him to compile one of their first CDs, and it promptly sold 100,000 copies. He then complete some compilations for them, five of them being the Annual I to V.

20 eme ANNIVERSSAIRE Du premier album solo SOLD | 02 avril 2007

 

Cela fait déja 20 ans que le premier album solo de George est sortie!

1987 : SOLD est donc une référence et marque le come back de george, illustré par EVERYTHING I OWN dont le succès est retentissant!

 

L'album contient 11 titres dont les singles SOLD, KEEP ME IN MIND ne marquera pas les esprits. Seule la ballade TO BE REBORN remporta un succès en Europe dont la france (11eme au top 50).
