Boy George has scrubbing job at Edmunds Hill prison | 09 février 2009

Honte pop star Boy George est le nettoyage de son acte - le lavage des pots et des casseroles pour £ 15 par semaine en prison.

L'icône des années 80, 47, travaille de neuf heures par jour dans la prison de cuisine ... et il a impressionné avec son personnel travaille dur attitude.

Une source de prison a déclaré: "George passe le plus clair de son temps avec ses mains à l'eau savonneuse.

«Il est vrai comedown pour lui mais il la traiter avec elle dans la bonne humeur et la mise sur un brave face".

George a été emprisonné pendant 15 mois en Janvier, après l'emprisonnement des hommes faussement escorte Audun Carlsen, qu'il a enchaîné à un crochet dans la chambre de sa maison à East London.

L'ancien chanteur Culture Club - le vrai nom George O'Dowd - est dans l'unité d'induction Edmunds Hill Catégorie C prison, Suffolk.

Fans lui ont adressé plus de 400 lettres et des cartes et des centaines de livres en espèces, qu'il met dans une prison de compte bancaire.

BOY GEORGE SENT MONEY FROM FANS IN JAIL | 07 février 2009

Shamed pop star BOY GEORGE's time in jail has been made easier by his caring fans - they are sending the former CULTURE CLUB frontman money to spend during his stint behind bars. The singer - real name George O'Dowd - was sentenced to serve 15 months in prison last month (Jan09) for chaining Norwegian Audun Carlsen to a hook in a bedroom at his East London apartment in April 2007.
During his incarceration in North London's infamous Pentonville jail, George has received over 400 letters and cards from fans.
And followers of the 47-year-old are making sure his time behind bars is comfortable - many are also enclosing cash for him to spend on luxuries, which the star is putting in a prison bank account, according to reports.
A prison insider tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "It's unbelievable why so many people would want to spend their money on him.
"But he has been genuinely touched by people's concern for him."

Boy George Is Very Popular In Jail | 27 janvier 2009

When you're a slovenly, makeup-wearing gay man jailed for torturing an escort in a highly public case, you may be shaking in your man-heels about going to prison.

But if you're a a slovenly, makeup-wearing gay man jailed for torturing an escort, who also happened to sing "Karma Chameleon" than you got nothing to worry about.

Boy George had to be moved from Category B Pentonville jail because he was too popular.

Inmates lined up for his autograph and guards were caught being "too kind" by bumming him cigarettes. Boy George had his own personal guard because his cell was a hotbed for starry-eyed murders and rapists wanting to hang with the former Culture Club singer.

"It's ironic that he was worried about getting beaten up in Pentonville but all that happened was people showered him with so much attention and kindness that they had to move him anyway," a prison source said.

Well then. Boy George may have finally found his niche -- in a London tranny version of Shawshank Redemption.

Pourquoi tant de haine ?

Qui aurait pu prédire que l'interprète de « Do you really want to hurt me ? » (veux-tu vraiment me faire du mal ?) purgerait 25 ans plus tard, une peine de 15 mois de prison ferme, pour avoir maltraité un escort boy (qui a du d'ailleurs lui poser la question .) ?
Pas nous !

Et qui va sourire lorsqu'il apprendra que c'est justement durant cette sombre période que va sortir le duo qu'a enregistré Boy avec notre Régine nationale, intitulée sobrement « I've always brought luck to men » (J'ai toujours porté chance aux hommes) ?

Joker !

La sortie de ce titre est programmé pour Mars 2009 . Quelle chance en effet !
