2eme single de l'album waking up with the house on fire : THE MEDAL SONG

Je le disais précedemment, l'inspiration du groupe s'essoufle et la cohésion du groupe fait défaut!
Rien d'étonant que ce 3eme album WAKING UP WITH THE HOUSE ON FIRE, manque de puissance et d'homogénéité......

Malgrés l'énorme succes de THE WAR SONG, l'album ne décolle pas dans les charts ou tres peu...
Les ETAS UNIS commencent par bouder boy george, victime d'homophobie et de menaces de mort à DALLAS....

La maison de disque décida de sortir THE MEDAL SONG en guise de 2eme single pour sauver les chutes de l'album....
Mais celui ci ne reussira pas à décoller dans les charts et ce fut le 1er single FLOP de culture club... il resta uniquement n°32 en ANGLETERRE et par consequent aucunes sorties de ce single fut prévu dans le reste du monde....

Le clip retrace tant bien que mal un homage à l'actrice FRANCES FARMER.... mais en vain...
