Boy George – there’s magic in that name. Although the 80s were a decade not lacking in flamboyant people, Boy George was one of the most colorful, extraordinary and dazzling of them all. New Wave is inextricably linked to his name, and the young New Romantics scene copied his style down to the last detail. His music made him immortal. Songs like »Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?,« »It’s A Miracle,« and »Karma Chameleon« are still played on the radio today. The renowned photographer Didi Zill met Boy George and Culture Club for 13 separate photo sessions during the 80s.
