David and Boy George Fight

 

It's handbags at dawn between David Walliams and Boy George.

Apparently David is rather protective of his buddy Matt.

Sparks flew when the former Culture Club singer asked David about his comedy partner Matt Lucas' nuptials.

And the venue for the spat was Channel 4's The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year.

Georgie Boy asked David: "How was Matt's wedding?"

Stony-faced David replied: "Very nice thank you. It was great you weren't there."

Russell Brand, who was also on the show, told the audience: "There's a bad atmosphere here now and I want to go home."

David defended his comment following the show, saying: "There's a background to this. I wouldn't be mean for the sake of it."

Russ explained later: "Apparently Boy George thinks that Matt Lucas isn't a good example of homosexuality."

Crikey kids, calm down... isn't this the season of goodwill?
