Le 11 septembre, DARK GLOBE va sortir un nouvel album intitulé
NOSTALGIA FOR THE FUTURE. George collabore à nouveau avec le groupe
après le single "auto erotic" sorti en 2003 dernier.

Cette fois ci le morceau est une ballade électro intitulé "atoms".

DARK GLOBE TO RELEASE BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST ALBUM NOSTALGIA FOR THE FUTURE ON GLOBAL UNDERGROUND

Much like the previous releases on the GU Music, Dark Globe carves out
a style that doesn't sound like what anyone else is currently doing
musically. While the base is centered on a blend of downtempo, breaks
and pop, the thing that really sets Dark Globe apart from other
electronic based acts is their songwriting. These songs aren't to be
considered beats and rhythms made for the dance floor that doesn't do
this album any justice. Rather, the songs are structured to conjure up
deep human emotion. Atoms (Featuring Boy George) is a true electronic ballad complete with marvelous strings, piano and weepy vocals.
Lead single Break My World (Featuring Amanda Ghost) is an epic
meeting of powerful vocals and smart programming, while For Raymond
(featuring Julie Thompson) enters lazy / hazy trip-hop territory.
Instrumental tracks Fever Electric and Stray Birds are thought
provoking and provide a score for the film that runs inside your head.
Simply put, Nostalgia For The Future is something you need to hear.

Progressive-Sounds (journalist): The album features a range of different vocalists, including Amanda Ghost, Julie Thompson and Boy George, which to me reflects the wide range of influences that you both have? What was it like being able to work with Boy George, and how did the chance come about?

Pete: We've worked with George before on the 'Auto-erotic'
single and we'd been waiting for another opportunity, we came up with
the original idea that it was going to be a three way collaboration
with Antony [ of the Johnsons fame ] but that didn't work out although
we had some interesting late night email conversations with Antony
about what that track was going to sound like... 20,000 leagues under
the sea using animal voices as instruments. I think that'll end up
being a whole album project rather than a one off.

We also got to work with Tom Verlaine of NYC's Television fame on this
album who's one of our heroes, he did some sterling 'twang' work with
singer Imogen Andrews on 'Everybody fades'.
