Il existe un maxi cd de DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME qui est sorti en novembre 1991, suite à la déferlante HARE KRISHNA de George.
Le maxi édite 3 titres :
1. Do You Really Want To Hurt Me
2. Do You Really Want To Hurt Me (Dub Version)
3. Bow Down Mister (Sitari Bizzari Mix)
Virgin 665 483, re-release
Ce single est sorti uniquement en Allemagne mais n'a pas eu le succes escompté dans les ventes... faute de promotion...
Le point a mémoriser est la beauté de la pochette reprsésentant un George avec chapeau perlée KRISHNA..

En 1991, VIRGIN sort un album compilation des meilleurs remix et face b des singles de Culture club et Boy george (everything i own).
Les fans achetent l'album mais celui ci ne remporte pas un succès en terme de ventes.
De toute façon, aucune promotion n'est faite, aucunes publicités, etc....
La pochette montre la foto du single "move away", session from luxery to heartache...
Cette compilation est très interressante mais ne contient aucun inédit :

23 septembre 1991, sort AFTER THE LOVE avec 2 nouveau remix :
- prophets of dom mix
- naughty norman normal's nightie mix
After the love est le dernier single de l'album THE MARTYRS MANTRAS.
After the love n'est pas vraiment une nouveauté puisqu'il est déjà sorti en 1989 sous JESUS LOVES YOU.... mais courroné d'un...flop...
George, grâce à l'énorme succès de BOW DOWN MISTER et le succès d'estime de GENERATIONS OF LOVE, décide de le ressortir sous un remix different, et surtout destiné pour les clubs...
Aucun 45T est diffusé en France mais un maxi 45t cd sort dont une pochette PIERRE et GILLES qui est archi connu....
Succès d'estime dans les clubs mais aucune rentrée dans les charts français...
Conclusion : mis à part le remix de GENERATION OF LOVE "absolutely queer mix, le reste est inutile.... votre commentaire

Après un succes d'estime avec Heartbeak en Angleterre, Jon moss se lance dans un nouveau projet : IL CREE UN NOUVEAU GROUPE AVEC NICK FELDMAN : PROMISLED LAND.
Un single sort en 1990 "something in the air"! UN ENORME BIDE!!!!
PERSONNE NE PASSE CE TITRE EN RADIO ET PERSONNE N'ACHETE CE SINGLE!!!
Jon moss ne se décourage pas et produit un album "promised land" du même nom du groupe en 1992 :

juin 1991, re sort GENERATION OF LOVE avec le remix "commercial" : "la la gone gaga mix"!
Avec ce remix, George nous fait le coup "tube de l'été" avec la lambada-gypsy king avec un zeste de ragga-muffin rappeux chanté par AMOS et MC KINKY...
La face b est le mix "road to basra mix" qui est une version écourtée de l'original!
La pochette est belle sans plus! George apparait sous un fond jaune avec une photo de l'époque de "tense nervous headache"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COMME SI GEORGE NAVAIT FAIT DE SCEANCES FOTOS PLUS RECENTES ET SUPERBES DEPUIS 1988!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
C'est le grand retour de AMOS que nous connaissons déjà puisqu'il était le fameux Captain Crucial de Culture Club que l'on a connu sur "love twist" entre autre...
Tout est là pour faire de GENERATION OF LOVE un tube assuré!!!!
En effet, George souhaite redonner une seconde chance à superbe titre au succes sous estimé en 1990 dû au clip censuré....
Un 2eme clip "soft" est tourné avec des dragqueen habillé facon espagnol qui sont dans les choeurs, et George apparait SUPERBE!!!! avec le retour du chapeau.... et un maquillage sublimement bien fait!
Une chouette apparait au début et à la fin du clip...
Ce clip est superbe!!!
Hélas, le GENERATION OF LOVE-LA LA GONE GAGA MIX connut un succes d'estime uniquement, sans doute écrasé par la tornade "bow down mister"!
Il se classe 34eme du top 50 français mais ne grimpera pas plus haut! En angleterre, il grimpa jusqu'à la 28eme place..... mais ne resta pas longtemps dans les charts...
POURKOI???? POURQUOI???? PORQUE????? WHY??????
