George participe à la B.O.F HIDDING OUT....(petit film indépendant passé quelque peu inaperçu...)
Il a été classé à la 62eme dans les charts Anglais et 38eme en Italy...
Il n'est pas sorti en France et aux Etats Unis vu le Flop qu'il a subit en Angleterre....
La face b est "live my live mix"
Au Japon, c'est la pochette du single "to be reborn" de l'Europe qui sort et place en face b "TO BE REBORN"....

La sortie de ce 4eme single coïncide avec le début de la tournée.
Le vidéo-clip est réalisé sous la direction de JEAN BAPTISTE MONDINO, au coût de 10000 livres...
Grâce à des trucages révoltionnaires, George apparait en femme fatale hollywoodienne au teint de porcelaine, chantant entre les pages d'un livre. Procédé éblouissant!!!
Cela ne surprit pas George que MADONNA copie le clip trait pour trait en 1993 pour son clip "this used to be my playground" (George rebaptisa aussitot le clip "this used to be my video")
Le single connut un grand succès (enfin!!!!!!) dans les charts Europeens.....
Il se classe 13eme en Angleterre et en Italy et 16eme en France (16 semaines au TOP 50 national!)....
La face b est "where are you now" tirré de l'album SOLD

Le 3eme single SOLD sort en novembre 1987!
Il se classe seulement à la 24eme place des charts Anglais et 4eme en Italy....
Il sort en France mais celle ci le boude, car le public (et les fans?????) n'adhere pas....
lA FACE B est ARE YOU TOO AFRAID?
Le clip SOLD lançait un cri contre l'apartheid. Il consacrait un retour aux beaux jours de Culture Club avec des dizaines de figurants, une reconstitution d'émeute raciale et des voitures en flammes.

Un single qui sort en 1987 peu de temps apres "keep me in mind";
Il s'agit d'une oeuvre caritative mais j'avoue que je ne connais pas grand CHOSE de ce disque et de cet évènement!
Ce single est passé innaperçu en France.....GOSH ( Great Ormond Street Hospital) est un hopital qui avait besoin de fonds pour les travaux d'un troisième batiment, a fait appel à THE WISHING WELL le groupe éphémère de chanteurs qui ont sorti un titre pour celà. A noter que LADY DI en est devenue présidente en 1989.

Après le succes énorme d' "everything i own", virgin décide de sortir un 2eme single...
Boy George choisit KEEP ME IN MIND....
Il ne rencontrera pas le succes escomptés!
Il grimpera jusqu'à la 29eme place des charts Anglais et 5eme en Italy...
Il ne sort pas en France ni même aux Etats Unis....
la face b est "state of love"
Le clip fut tourné à la BARBADE....
George partit une semaine à l'avance en vacance à la Barbade avec ses parents et Mickael Dunne, son petit ami....
Il se disputa beaucoup avec son père qui détenait les clefs de la pharmacie familiale...
En effet, George, encore mal en point souhaite augmenter sa quantité de médicaments...
George commenca donc une nouvelle crise de drogue : du vallium (somniferes)....
Paul Starr devint le maquilleur de George pendant le clip.... et lui fit un style adolescent pour cacher les kilos superflues de George....
